HAVE YOU EVER WONDER WHY PEOPLE LONG FOR "THE GOOD OLE DAYS?"

 Why do people, so often, use the expression "The Good Ole Days?" What is the world missing 'Now" that the 'Past" calls to people like a lover calling to his beloved?
Memories that are filled with only loving thoughts of what was must be the key that creates this longing for the past.
Yes the world has changed from the time where life was slowed down. It was a time of simple conveniences, not like the modern ones we have today.
It was a time and place where people knew each other and helped each other in a time of need. One can compare it to a seed in the earth. There are needs for the seed to survive and grow. This is how the people in the past survived by helping each other. Helping each other not just in a 'time of need' but whatever it took for survival.
Today the cell phone called "smart phone" is a wonderful tool. Except take a look at people in a restaurant. What you will see are two people sitting at a table, one or both on the phone.

 The separation of what is important has shifted from the person at the table to the cell phone. People have become slaves to modern technology. Mere robots with human hearts.
The cell phone is attached like an umbilical cord to the human who holds it. 
What a way to control a nation and keep the people oblivious to the fact little by little their freedom is being taken away from them.
To think a little box has so much power to hypnotize people into submission.
 No wonder people long for the past, because the future is going to be robots with human hearts.

Without a sense of caring, there can be no sense of community.
