What is the definition of Energy Center?

The symbol of the Energy Center.

www.theenergycenter.org

The thought came to me:

The Energy Center.

What is energy? What is the center?

This is the dictionary definition:
Energy- strength or force producing effect

Center- the point which remains at rest while all the other parts of a body mover around it

My thought on what Center is really is the combination of the two words.

Center-the action ( energy)

 going within oneself(center)

 to produce outward change.

The Chakras- The 7 Chakras are the energy centers in our body in which energy flows through.
Blocked energy in our 7 Chakras can often lead to illness so it's important to understand what each Chakra represents and what we can do to keep this energy flowing freely.

Everything on this Earth is energy and we are all connected. What we do to the Earth. We do to ourselves.
“If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change. As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him. ... We need not wait to see what others do.”
                                                            Gandhi
We can begin the change with ourselves for change starts there. Taking Responsibility for our health and taking responsibility to learn more than just believing what the news media wants you to believe as the truth. Learning that there are alternative ways to heal rather than just believing what the medical doctor tells you.
"There may be nothing more your doctors can do for you, but this doesn’t mean there’s nothing else that can be done."
“There is nothing in the natural environment that can cause cancer. So it has to be a man-made disease, down to pollution and changes to our diet and lifestyle.” http://www.cancerfightingstrategies.com/modernmedicine.html#sthash.etA5wYlr.23jAsA3E.dpuf

FOR YESTERDAY IS BUT A DREAM AND TOMORROW IS ONLY A VISON

"FOR YESTERDAY IS BUT A DREAM
AND TOMORROW IS ONLY A VISION.
BUT TODAY WELL LIVED MAKES
EVERY YESTERDAY A DREAM OF HAPPINESS
AND EVERY TOMORROW A VISION OF HOPE.
LOOK WELL THEREFORE TO THIS DAY!
SUCH IS THE SALUTATION OF DAWN."
                                                                                                                                                   KALIDASA
One would think this quote is a modern expression. Yet, it came from a poet that lived during the fifth century.  When one thinks about it:nothing is new and everything really is old.

"EVERY YESTERDAY A DREAM OF HAPPINESS
AND EVERY TOMORROW A VISION OF HOPE."

We make our "dream of yesterday" and our "every tomorrow" with starting the day with 'gratitude'.
Why? Because think how your day goes when you have a positive feeling; especially if you are going to do something packed with fun. How did you feel? Happy and most likely full of energy.  So gratitude is the key to opening your mind and heart to the wonderful things you have in your life.
" Today I will meditate on what else I can do to show this Universe how grateful I am for life. My expression of gratitude will be my act of prayer today. Perhaps I will become more mindful that I can choose to be kinder to another person today or I can choose to help one needy person. Or I can decide to notice how truly blessed I am in the small details of my life. Today that is my meditation."
                                                                                                                 Caroline Myss

We have the choice to be aware and thankful for the things we have whether big or minute. When was the last time you thanked your feet or hands for the work they do for you? Are you a slave master to your body or are you a person who acknowledges the servant who serves you so well?

Decide today to notice how truly blessed you are in the small details of your life

HAVE YOU EVER WONDER WHY PEOPLE LONG FOR "THE GOOD OLE DAYS?"

Why do people, so often, use the expression "The Good Ole Days?" What is the world missing 'Now" that the 'Past" calls to people like a lover calling to his beloved?
Memories that are filled with only loving thoughts of what was must be the key that creates this longing for the past.
Yes the world has changed from the time where life was slowed down. It was a time of simple conveniences, not like the modern ones we have today.
It was a time and place where people knew each other and helped each other in a time of need. One can compare it to a seed in the earth. There are needs for the seed to survive and grow. This is how the people in the past survived by helping each other. Helping each other not just in a 'time of need' but whatever it took for survival.
Today the cell phone called "smart phone" is a wonderful tool. Except take a look at people in a restaurant. What you will see are two people sitting at a table, one or both on the phone.

The separation of what is important has shifted from the person at the table to the cell phone. People have become slaves to modern technology. Mere robots with human hearts.
The cell phone is attached like an umbilical cord to the human who holds it.
What a way to control a nation and keep the people oblivious to the fact little by little their freedom is being taken away from them.
To think a little box has so much power to hypnotize people into submission.
No wonder people long for the past, because the future is going to be robots with human hearts.

Without a sense of caring, there can be no sense of community.

Five short steps to create change

Years ago I copied and pasted this to my word pad on my computer. I have to admit, modern technology makes learning so much easier.
Well that is, copying and pasting information saves time writing to one's notebook!
I love books and will always say:" Give me a book to hold and read is the way to go to learn."  I find the hours spent sitting in front of a computer, and the glare on my eyes takes the joy out of learning.
So with that said, I wish to share Sandy Wilson's article on Internal belief system change. Where this came from, I have no idea. When I saved it, I have no idea. I do know that I am glad I went to my documents to remind me:
I still have much to change in me before I can expect others to change for me!
"All of us live our lives based on our internal belief system-we act without thinking about the why behind the actions.

In order to create change, it is necessary to get to the core belief behind the action."- by Sandy Wilson

Five Short Chapters on Change

Chapter 1-
I walk down a street and there's a deep hole in the sidewalk. I fall in.
It takes forever to get out.  It's not my fault.
Chapter 2-
I walk down the same street. I fall in the hole again. It still takes a
long time to get out. It's not my fault.
Chapter 3-
I walk down the same street. I fall in the hole again. It's becoming a habit.
It is my fault.      I get out immediately.
Chapter 4-
I walk down the same street and see the deep hole in the sidewalk.
                                        I walk around it.
Chapter 5-
I walk down a different street.
How does giving up on your resolutions make you feel?
Not so good?  People often say:
"Oh, I just have no will power,"
 "I'm just to lazy,"
"It's not worth the effort."
Think about this: There is no failure, only more information.
What did you learn about yourself when you gave up on your resolution?
Can you pinpoint the moment you gave up?
Do you remember exactly what caused you to no care anymore?

Destiny awaits the traveler who has learned to conquer his inner fears

"Destiny awaits the traveler who has learned to conquer his
inner fear and trusts his wits to navigate through stormy weather"
from "Why are wise men called Men of Wisdom-because they learn
from their mistakes"
CAS

I have a book in my mind that needs to be written and I do not have the money to even publish it as an e-book. It is a story of injustice done to someone very dear to me that almost destroyed their life. It was an emotional roller coaster to the depths of Hell and back. It was Hell to stand and watch  the person going through it. I could not do anything but be there for them. I wanted to be the one who took their pain away.
The above quote came from one of the emails I sent to this dear person to keep their spirits uplifted as much as possible. As time went on the days turned to months and months turned to a year. The quote "Time heals all wounds", I can agree only partially, for on the surface it looks healed. It is the scars left inside, that are there to remind one of the pain. Will those scars ever heal?
I had to do something for my own healing. So, I took the best of what I wrote and gave it the title: "Why are wise men called Men of Wisdom-because they learn from their mistakes."  Men of Wisdom sounds better than Women of Wisdom. Women are called Crones or Hags, seems like a better name could bestowed on us for we are very intuitive people. Especially with age comes our wisdom. Is our wisdom part of our DNA? Or is it, because we are drawn into more things in this life?  Oh well, do women really need titles? We know we have much knowledge and if we do not know -we ask for directions. I know a few guys who would rather be lost for one hour than stop to ask for help! Thank heaven for GPS- the perfect gift for the guy who thinks he knows everything!
Well, where was I in thought? Oh yes, someday the whole true story will become a book, until then this must do to let the world  know how one person's words can almost destroy another person's life. Especially when, what was said turned out to be lies done out of anger.

"When everything seem to be going against you, remember that the airplane takes off against the wind, not with it...  "

I think the American people should see

It takes courage to speak up while the world state's you are crazy or casting doubt about the subject matter you speak about.
It is up to the reader to research and make their own decisions. Most important, this person is trying to awaken you to the fact, the world is not a place of truth. Probably no different than the expression: "Let the buyer beware". Or take responsibility for finding out what the truth is.

“Most people do not really want freedom, because freedom involves responsibility, and most people are frightened of responsibility.”
― Sigmund Freud -

On the subject of GMO, history will record that every time mankind has tried to change what Nature made the end result will have been more harm than good. The future generations, our children or children's children will bear the burden of health effects from GMO. What we do now for them, just maybe the turning point to give them a healthier future.

Below is information I copied/pasted to give you a little info on Vandana Shiva. The link below the paragraph is to  the article this information came from.

Vandana Shiva was born in the valley of Dehradun in India in 1952. Educated in her homeland, she eventually pursued graduate studies in Canada, receiving an MA at Guelph and a PhD at the University of Western Ontario. A dedicated activist, she founded Navdanya – meaning “Nine Seeds” – more than two decades ago. According to its website, its organizational mandate is “to protect the diversity and integrity of living resources, especially native seed, and to promote organic farming and fair trade.” Under her guidance Navdanya has evolved into a national movement.
Shiva is an energetic campaigner against globalization and a vocal critic of agricultural genetic engineering—GMOs. She has written more than 20 books. In Biopiracy, Stolen Harvest and Water Wars, she examined the social, economic and ecological costs of corporate-led globalization. The Violence of Green Revolution and Monocultures of the Mind challenged what she referred to as the dominant paradigm of non-sustainable, reductionist Green Revolution agriculture.
Many prominent intellectuals herald her as a forward-thinking scientist and expert in genetic engineering. When Beloit conferred its honorarium upon her, and in accompanying news releases and the website announcement touting her selection, it prominently noted her “PhD in nuclear physics,” calling her “a recognized expert on agriculture and biotechnology.” https://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=5855926497069575920#editor/target=post;postID=514271576773383329

The real forgotten meaning of "THE WIZARD OF OZ"

The Real, Forgotten Meaning Of 'The Wizard Of Oz'

"The Wizard of Oz" book, written by L. Frank Baum and originally published in 1900, may have been inspired by the real-life economic struggles during the Gold Standard. Many economists and historians insist that the book is a political allegory. In their telling, each character represents a person or group active in the late 1800s. The scarecrow represents the farmers in the west. most of these farmers had mortgages and owed money to the bankers in the east. When deflation hit, the value of the farmers' debts rose. The amount they owed the bankers was now worth much more than at the time of the loan - bad for the farmers but great for the bankers The yellow brick road is the gold standard. The gold standard was blamed for the rise in prices and many believed the end of the gold standard would fix everything. But the citizens of the East (who are represented by the munchkins) wanted to keep the gold standard in place. They urge Dorothy to "follow the yellow brick road". The farmers weren't the only group suffering and seeking an end to the gold standard. Industrial workers are represented by the tin man. His joints are rusted and he can no longer work much like the 18% of Americans that were unemployed in 1894. The cowardly lion is William Jennings Bryan, A populist leader and the face of the Free Silver Movement. He believed that adding silver to the gold standard would ease deflation and solve the nation's economic woes. And of course there is a nod to gold in the title. The Wonderful Wizard of Oz or O-Z the abbreviation for an ounce of gold. The Emerald City is America's capital, Washington, D.C. where everything is seen through dollar colored glasses literally (which is why everything appears to be green). In the end, it is Dorothy's shoes that save her — HER SILVER SHOES. The shoes were silver in the book but were changed to ruby for the movie. It turns out, The solution was right under her nose the entire time. Adding silver to the money supply."

The question to ask yourself is: What will our current situation be written as in some future story? This country is in so much debt and continues to print money that really has no backing or value.  Will we, the working class, suffer the same fate as the farmers? Is there a yellow brick road that represents gold for us to follow?  There is doubt that gold still exists in the vaults of Ft Knox. Therefore, our yellow brick road, just may be "brick" after all.

Herbs and Spices

Herbs and Spices

What's the Difference? The difference is that if a leaf of a plant can be used to add aroma flavoring to dishes, then it is an herb.
Herbs are also used for medicinal and/or spiritual purposes. The parts of the plant used include the leaves, flowers, seeds, root bark, and inner bark.

Spices are made up of every other part of the plant, including dried bark, roots, berries, seeds, twigs, or anything else that isn't the green leafy part.
Spices, when harvested from any other portion of the plant are typically dried.
Spices come from berries (peppercorns), roots (ginger), seeds (nutmeg),  and flower buds (cloves).

Some plants yield both an herb and a spice. Cilantro is the leafy herb of the same plant that gives us the popular spice coriander seed. Dill weed (an herb) and dill seed (a spice) also come from the same plant.

Many herbs have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that may help keep you healthy. Why not do your own research to find the healthy benefits the herbs and spices offer. You may just be surprised what Mother Nature's health store has to offer without the side effects of prescription drugs.
