Destiny awaits the traveler who has learned to conquer his inner fears

"Destiny awaits the traveler who has learned to conquer his
inner fear and trusts his wits to navigate through stormy weather"
from "Why are wise men called Men of Wisdom-because they learn
from their mistakes"

I have a book in my mind that needs to be written and I do not have the money to even publish it as an e-book. It is a story of injustice done to someone very dear to me that almost destroyed their life. It was an emotional roller coaster to the depths of Hell and back. It was Hell to stand and watch  the person going through it. I could not do anything but be there for them. I wanted to be the one who took their pain away.
The above quote came from one of the emails I sent to this dear person to keep their spirits uplifted as much as possible. As time went on the days turned to months and months turned to a year. The quote "Time heals all wounds", I can agree only partially, for on the surface it looks healed. It is the scars left inside, that are there to remind one of the pain. Will those scars ever heal?
I had to do something for my own healing. So, I took the best of what I wrote and gave it the title: "Why are wise men called Men of Wisdom-because they learn from their mistakes."  Men of Wisdom sounds better than Women of Wisdom. Women are called Crones or Hags, seems like a better name could bestowed on us for we are very intuitive people. Especially with age comes our wisdom. Is our wisdom part of our DNA? Or is it, because we are drawn into more things in this life?  Oh well, do women really need titles? We know we have much knowledge and if we do not know -we ask for directions. I know a few guys who would rather be lost for one hour than stop to ask for help! Thank heaven for GPS- the perfect gift for the guy who thinks he knows everything!
Well, where was I in thought? Oh yes, someday the whole true story will become a book, until then this must do to let the world  know how one person's words can almost destroy another person's life. Especially when, what was said turned out to be lies done out of anger.

"When everything seem to be going against you, remember that the airplane takes off against the wind, not with it...  "
